The privacy of your personal information is important to ESRAD. We collect and use only the personal information that is necessary to offer services to our members and conference participants, which include ESRAD publications, updates on our activities and ESRAD conferences.
What personal data do we collect?
Personal information we record and process may include:
- Names
- E-mail addresses
- Phone Numbers
- Your organisation or affiliation
- Your occupation
- Registration and attendance at events
- Records of contributions to business meetings
- Photos of you and/or videos of presentations delivered at conferences
How long do we keep the information?
The personal data you provide will be stored securely while you are an active member, or for a maximum of 5 years after your last conference participation to enable communication about upcoming conferences and activities.
What do we do with the information?
We use the personal data to:
· Communicate with you and other members to inform of news and developments at ESRAD which we believe will be of interest to you
· Invite you to events and process event registrations and ticket purchases where applicable
Sharing your information
At our conferences, your name and university affiliation will be shared with other delegates. Presenters’ names will appear on a printed document for this purpose. We will ask your express permission prior to sharing your email address with other delegates.
Outside of that, any information you share will be kept confidential and not passed on to any third party without your prior explicit consent.
Your personal data is never shared with external organizations. We will never release personal contact details without prior consent. We will only publish images of you with your prior consent.
Control of your data and communication preferences
You are in control of your data. You have a choice about whether you want to receive information from us, and by which methods of communication. You can also request that we remove your details from our database or change the way we process your personal data.
Any electronic communications will be made in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. This means we send e-mails to you only if you have consented to receive communication from us.

Your rights
Under the GDPR, individuals have the right to obtain:

· other supplementary information – this largely corresponds to the information that should be provided in a privacy notice.
You can raise a complaint regarding the use of your personal data by ESRAD, raise a Subject Access Request to check your personal information that we have stored, request changes to or deletion of all your personal information at any time by sending an email to [email protected]
