Aims and scope
Wisdom is the integrative and integrated capacity for complex reflection and practical judgment, balancing several dimensions, especially psychological, cognitive, emotional, aesthetical and ethical dimensions. It develops throughout life through the processing of experiences in behaviour (individually) and shared culture and practice (organizationally) and manifests as responsible action focused on the well-being of all involved, the sustainability of systems, and the fostering of human potential. Research and contributions of wisdom from several viewpoints, psychological and other empirical sciences, such as education, but also theoretical and philosophical work, are involved. Exploring how wisdom manifests itself in work and organizational contexts and promoting wisdom in practice, e.g. in adult education. Contact persons
