ESRAD is pleased to announce its Summer Symposium 2026, dedicated to the theme Global Transitions to and During Adulthood. The event will take place on 18 June 2026, from 10:00 to 17:30 CEST (09:00–17:30 BST), and will bring together leading scholars and researchers to explore contemporary challenges and trajectories in adult development across diverse cultural contexts.
The symposium will feature keynote contributions from Jeffrey Jensen Arnett, Amber Thalmeyer, and Deeya Mitra, offering interdisciplinary perspectives on emerging and established adulthood. The programme will also include a special screening of the documentary Namibia Up, which provides a compelling insight into the lived experiences of young people transitioning into adulthood in Namibia. This event aims to foster dialogue on global patterns of development, highlighting both shared processes and culturally specific pathways into adulthood. It will be of interest to researchers, practitioners, and students working in developmental psychology and related fields. Participation details and registration information will be shared soon. In the meantime, we invite you to join ESRAD to receive updates and further announcements. |
